Terms & billing conditions
Version 2026-09-25. These conditions apply to self-service Hostezly accounts and paid plans.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are activated only after Hostezly receives a verified successful payment event from Stripe. Recurring plans renew automatically according to the billing interval shown at checkout until cancelled.
One trial per customer
Each customer is eligible for a Hostezly free trial only once. Once a trial has been activated, later upgrading, cancelling, refunding or returning to an account with no active plan does not restore trial eligibility.
48-hour zero-check-in refund
A full refund is available when both of these conditions are met: the cancellation request is made within 48 hours of the initial Hostezly account signup, and no guest check-in has been recorded in that organisation.
Creating an event, importing guests, sending invitations or recording RSVP responses does not by itself remove refund eligibility. Once the first guest check-in is recorded, the automatic refund condition is no longer available.
Cancellation after the refund window
For recurring plans, a cancellation that does not qualify for the refund policy is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period. The plan remains available until that period ends. No partial or pro-rata refund is issued unless required by applicable law.
Single Event purchases that do not qualify for the refund policy are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. The time for the funds to appear depends on the payment method, card issuer and financial institution.
Account and event data
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of guest and event information uploaded to Hostezly. Cancellation or refund does not immediately delete historical event data.
When an account remains inactive, Hostezly may remove guest-level personal data after the applicable inactive-account retention period shown in the customer workspace. Hostezly may retain the organisation account, commercial history, security records and non-personal event-level information for operational, audit or legal purposes.
Mandatory legal rights
Nothing in these billing conditions limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
